THIRD SEASON LAUNCH OF ‘THE MUSICAL OF YOUR LIFE’ QUADRUPLES MARKET SHARES IN BELGIUM

The third season of the breakout hit ‘The Musical of Your Life’ launched last week on Play4 in Belgium. After two highly successful seasons, the first primetime episode of the new season featuring Tom Waes scored an incredible market share of 54.1% (18-44, Live +6), an increase of +463% against the Play 4 average market share. 

Each episode of ‘The Musical of Your Life’ pays tribute to a beloved celebrity. This well-known individual is invited to a theater to join the host for a unique up-close and personal interview, during which five of the most memorable moments of his or her life are turned into moving musical scenes performed live on stage. After each scene, the celebrity reflects on those important moments.

The format was originally produced by Dedsit. It won the Rose D’Or for best entertainment format in 2022, was commissioned by Prosieben in Germany and aired last fall on Telecinco in Spain. The Spanish audiences appreciated the intimate and heartwarming peek into the life of local celebrities and witnessed some pivotal moments in ‘El Musical de tu Vida’.
