SENSATIONAL RESULTS FOR ‘THE WAY OUT’ IN THREE TERRITORIES

A second season of the highly successful Belgian family entertainment show ‘The Way Out’ got off to a strong start on April 20th on TV2 in Denmark, with a market share of 50.5% in its second episode (20-60, consolidated). The local series, produced by Blu, offers viewers a unique chance to watch and play along with their favorite celebrities as they make their way through a fascinating labyrinth of clever challenges and games. 

Meanwhile, a fourth season of the same format launched recently in the Netherlands on SBS6. The first episode captured an impressive market share of 21.7% (25-59, consolidated) in its  Sunday evening primetime slot, doubling the average for the channel

The format is also scoring high ratings in its home market on VTM, where it finished its fifth season with an average market share of 35%, up 46% compared to the average Wednesday evening share. 

On each episode of ‘The Way Out’, two different celebrity duos are sent into two identical rooms full of mysteries to be solved. Their quest? To figure out the scientific experiments and unravel the codes, because every test or assignment they complete provides them with a clue. And brings them a step closer to being the first duo to find ‘The Way Out.’
