‘THE MUSICAL OF YOUR LIFE' MAKING ITS WAY TO THE STAGE IN THE UK

The UK is the latest of multiple production deals secured by Be-Entertainment for the heartwarming music entertainment format ‘The Musical of Your Life’. The deal with the All3Media Company, Objective Media Group, will see the format produced by their thriving entertainment production company Triple Brew Media.

Triple Brew have stellar entertainment credits including ‘Lingo’ for CBS and ITV, ‘The Cube’ for TBS and ITV, and most recently the ITV hit series ‘Celebrity Lingo’ with RuPaul. Joint Creative Director of Triple Brew, Becca Walker, whose previous credits include ‘The Four’ for Fox in the US, ITV’s ‘The Voice’, ‘Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’, and ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’, will work closely with OMG’s commercial director Holly Pye on the format.

The UK pact marks the 10th production deal for the high-profile format over the past six months, since Be-Entertainment first introduced the format at this year’s MIPTV. Play4 in Belgium is set to air season 2 later this year, after a first season that saw the program increase the average market share by more than 200% and capturing the #1 slot for all eight episodes. In addition, production has started on the first season in Germany for Sat1. Other production deals have been confirmed in key territories, including Spain, Italy, Australia and the Nordics.  

‘The Musical of Your Life’, created by Belgian production company Dedsit, is the first format to successfully bring musicals to the TV screen. It combines moving up-close and personal celebrity interviews with musical performances of pivotal moments in their lives.
