ITALY GETS THE MESSAGE

A new license deal for Belgian format “Did You Get the Message?” can be announced for Discovery Italy. Banijay Italia will produce 8 episodes of the hidden camera show, broadcast date to be confirmed later this year.    
 
Italy will be the fifth country after Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal to broadcast the highly successful show.
 
Says Be-Entertainment MD Gepke Nederlof: “It’s fantastic that this format is travelling to yet another territory, especially in times like these when we can all use a strong entertainment format that brings a big dose of humor. And with already three highly successful series in Belgium we’re able to offer a wide variety of messages ready to be adapted locally.”
 
The hidden camera comedy, from prolific Belgian format creator Shelter, shows how to get a message across in such a unique and memorable way that there’s no chance of it ever being forgotten. The format has won several awards including the International Emmy award for best Non-Scripted Entertainment program.
