'THE BIG BANG' LAUNCHES BIG IN BELGIUM AND THE NETHERLANDS

The brand new family entertainment show ‘The Big Bang’, launched very well in Belgium & The Netherlands. The balloon-popping-obstacle course launched on prime time last Saturday on VTM in Belgium and captured a share of 43.7% (target 18-44, Live +VOSDAL), an increase of +111% against the slot average for VTM.

The entertainment format launched recently in prime time on SBS6 in The Netherlands. The Big Bang managed to draw in a sturdy 14.2% market share (target 25-59, Live+7), up almost 32% against the slot average for SBS6.

‘The Big Bang’ sees three celebrity duos challenged to execute a series of exciting assignments in the studio all around popping balloons. They will enter the game arena in a race against time to get through the obstacle course in three entertaining rounds, with the ultimate goal: being the first duo to cause ‘The Big Bang’ by popping a giant balloon in the finale. Can they still think clearly while hanging upside down, or even under water?  And who can answer general knowledge questions while there’s ‘electricity’ in the air and in the chair? Nothing is too crazy for ‘The Big Bang’!

‘The Big Bang’ is a co-creation between Roses are Blue, Talpa Concepts and VTM and is distributed by Be-Entertainment.
